Guggenheim Fellowships

Guggenheim Fellowships are intended for men and women who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts. The Foundation receives approximately 3,000 applications each year. Although no one who applies is guaranteed success in the competition, there is no prescreening: all applications are reviewed. Approximately 175 Fellowships are awarded each year - they are made for a minimum of six months and a maximum of twelve months; no special conditions attach to them.
Eligibility: Open to citizens and permanent residents of the United States and Canada.
Note: These are self-applications. If an external expert review of the draft application package is sought, please contact awards@sfu.ca at least three months in advance of the external deadline.
