Confederation of University Faculty Assns. of BC (CUFA BC) Distinguished Academics Awards

The ideas that flow out of our universities are the lifeblood of our economy, our political landscape, and our intellectual life. The CUFA BC Distinguished Academics Awards celebrate these ideas that contribute to the non-academic community and demonstrate the necessity and vitality of public university-based research and scholarly activity. There are three awards: Early in Career Award; Ehor Boyanowsky Academic of the Year Award; Paz Buttedahl Career Achievement Award.

Eligibility: Current members of Faculty Assn. For the Early in Career Award, nominees are typically no more than five years from PhD or within three years of appoitment as assistant professor.

Note: Chairs/Directors/Deans are invited to submit a pre-proposal form to Institutional Strategic Awards by the internal deadline of October 22, 2018. Candidates will be recommended by the President's Advisory Committee on Awards, Honours and Prizes to proceed to full nomination with the assistance of Institutional Strategic Awards.
