Alan Blizzard Award

The Alan Blizzard Award 2023 process is currently under review. An update to this process will be announced in June 2022.
The Alan Blizzard Award is a biennial award that recognizes and celebrates excellence in collaborative teaching and learning in post-secondary education. While educators are encouraged to cultivate collaborative approaches to student learning, they must also be encouraged and supported to engage in collaborative teaching.
Eligibility: The Award is open to groups of two or more individuals, at least one of whom must be currently teaching, regardless of discipline or level of appointment, and is a member of a Canadian post-secondary institution.
Value: $3,500 in funding will be awarded to assist members or a representative of the team with travel and other expenses associated with attending the annual STLHE Conference.
