Recognizes excellence in research leading to new understanding and novel developments in microsystems and related technologies. This award includes a monetary prize of $4,500.
Eligibility: Candidates for the award may be faculty, students or alumni who have successfully completed a Master's or PhD degree in a Canadian university within the previous three calendar years. Joint nominations with a microelectronics or microelectronics-related company are strongly encouraged.
Note: These are institutional, limited submission, nominations. Institutional Strategic Awards (ISA) coordinates the internal selection of nominees and/or institutional endorsements/external expert reviews. To promote equity, diversity and inclusion, departments and faculties should ensure that all eligible candidates are considered and given the opportunity to self-identify.
