Joseph B. and Toby Gittler Prize

The Joseph B. and Toby Gittler Prize was created by the late Professor Joseph B. Gittler to recognize outstanding and lasting scholarly contributions to racial, ethnic and/or religious relations.
Value: The award includes a cash prize of $25,000.
Eligibility: Recipients need not be American citizens or reside in the United States. Candidates must be formally nominated. Self nominations are not accepted.
Note: If institutional nomination/external expert review is sought (individuals may also nominate candidates outside of the institutional process), please submit a candidate suggestion form at least three months in advance of the external deadline to recommend a candidate to the President’s Advisory Committee on Awards, Honours and Prizes.
