King Faisal International Prize

King Faisal Prize recognizes the outstanding works of individuals and institutions in five major categories: Service to Islam, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, Medicine, and Science. Its aim is to benefit Muslims in their present and future, inspire them to participate in all aspects of civilization, as well as enrich human knowledge and develop mankind. Self-nominations are not accepted. Prize topics change every year; check agency website for details.

Note: These are institutional nominations. Institutional Strategic Awards (ISA) coordinates the internal selection of nominees and/or institutional endorsements/external expert reviews. To promote equity, diversity and inclusion, departments and faculties should ensure that all eligible candidates are considered and given the opportunity to self-identify. To recommend a candidate to the President’s Advisory Committee on Awards, Honours and Prizes, please submit a candidate suggestion form by the internal deadline.
