Lasker Award

Since 1945, the Awards Program has recognized the contributions of scientists, physicians, and public servants who have made major advances in the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of human disease. The Lasker Awards will be offered in three categories in 2021: Basic Research, Clinical Research, and Special Achievement.
Eligibility: Anyone who has made an original and significant contribution in basic or clinical medical research, or in public service, is eligible for nomination. Colleagues familiar with the nominee(s)'s work and with the relevant field of research (or area of public service) are ideal nominators. Self-nominations are not accepted.
