Lewis S. Rosenstiel Award for Distinguished Work in Basic Medical Research

Lewis S. Rosenstiel Award for Distinguished Work in Basic Medical Research was established at Brandeis University as an expression of the conviction that educational institutions have an important role to play in the encouragement and development of basic science as it applies to medicine. Carries an unspecified cash prize.
Eligibility: Scientists with recent discoveries of particular originality and importance to basic medical research.
Note: If institutional nomination/external expert review is sought (individuals may also nominate candidates outside of the institutional process), please submit a candidate suggestion form three months in advance of the external deadline. Please contact awards@sfu.ca for more information.
