National Academy of Science (NAS) Awards

Since 1886, the National Academy of Sciences has honored outstanding achievement in the physical, biological, and social sciences through its awards program. There are several awards per discipline: Biological Sciences; Behavioural and Social Sciences; Cognitive Sciences, Neuroscience, and Psychology; Earth and Space Science; Human Health and Medicine; Physical and Applied Sciences; as well as a Public Welfare Medal and Young Investigator/Early Career Award. Eligibility: NAS membership is not required to nominate or be nominated, and international nominees are eligible for nomination unless expressly stated otherwise. Some of the awards have an age restriction. Self-nominations are not accepted.
