Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Impact Partnership Award

The Partnership Award recognizes a SSHRC-funded formal partnership for its outstanding achievement in advancing research, research training or knowledge mobilization, or developing a new partnership approach to research and/or related activities. It is awarded to a formal partnership that, through mutual co-operation and shared intellectual leadership and resources, has demonstrated impact and influence within and/or beyond the social sciences and humanities research community. Partnership Award funds of $50,000 must be used within one year to extend the research, knowledge mobilization or research-related activities being recognized. At least 10 per cent of the award funds must be used to promote the recipient’s research achievements.

Eligibility: Canadian citizen or permanent resident; active SS&H researcher holding or have held SSHRC funding.

Note: These are institutional, limited submission nominations.  Institutional Strategic Awards (ISA) coordinates the internal selection of nominees and/or institutional endorsements/external expert reviews. To promote equity, diversity and inclusion, departments and faculties should ensure that all eligible candidates are considered and given the opportunity to self-identify. To recommend a candidate to the President’s Advisory Committee on Awards, Honours and Prizes, please submit a candidate suggestion form by the internal deadline.
