Warren Alpert Foundation Prize

The Warren Alpert Foundation Prize, in association with Harvard Medical School, recognizes and honours one or more scientists, physicians and researchers whose scientific achievements have led to the prevention, cure or treatment of human diseases or disorders, and/or whose research constitutes a seminal scientific finding that holds great promise of ultimately changing our understanding of or ability to treat disease. The value of the prize is U.S. $500,000 (to be split equally if more than one recipient is selected).

Eligibility: Nominations are accepted from physicians and scientists from around the world. U.S. and non U.S. citizens are elgible to be nominated.

Note: For an external expert review of a draft nomination, arranged through Universities Canada, please get in touch with awards@sfu.ca at least six weeks prior to the agency deadline.
