Warren Alpert Foundation Prize

The Warren Alpert Foundation Prize, in association with Harvard Medical School, recognizes and honours one or more scientists, physicians and researchers whose scientific achievements have led to the prevention, cure or treatment of human diseases or disorders, and/or whose research constitutes a seminal scientific finding that holds great promise of ultimately changing our understanding of or ability to treat disease.
Value: USD 500,000 (to be split equally if more than one recipient is selected).
Eligibility: Nominations are accepted from physicians and scientists from around the world. U.S. and non U.S. citizens are eligible to be nominated.
Note: If institutional nomination/external expert review is sought (individuals may also nominate candidates outside of the institutional process), please submit a candidate suggestion form at least three months in advance of the external deadline to recommend a candidate to the President’s Advisory Committee on Awards, Honours and Prizes.
