Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) - Full Application

The CREATE Program primarily supports the training of teams of highly qualified students (master's and doctorals) from Canada and abroad through the development of innovative training programs. The full application is by invitation only. More details are available at the NSERC website.
Up to 6 total years of funding: up to $150K in the first year and then up to $300K per year for the next 5 subsequent years. There are three streams: Regular, Industrial and International (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft - DFG).
Eligibility: Only invited applicants are eligible. Applicant must hold an eligible position at an eligible institution. Researchers at non-eligible organizations may participate as collaborators.
SFU signature sheet due to ORS (ors@sfu.ca) and application in submit mode no later than 3 business days before agency deadline.
*Note: If you have co-applicants at other institutions, please kindly send to ORS the contact information of other institutions' research services or equivalent office as soon as possible. ORS will need to obtain signatures from co-applicant institutions.
*Note: If you are a co-applicant on a grant submitted at SFU, SFU signature sheet is due to ORS no later than 3 business days before agency deadline
*Note: if you are co-applicant on grant submitted by another university, SFU signature sheet and application signature page (usually page 2 of Form 102) are due to ORS no later than 3 business days before agency deadline
