Promoting Gender Equality - Pre-proposal
NSERC invites you to participate in a joint co-funded call for proposals with Europe as part of GENDER-NET Plus. This important opportunity promotes the integration of sex and gender analysis in research projects at an international level in research topics relating to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
NSERC will provide direct funding to eligible Canadian researchers to participate in awarded projects in the natural sciences and engineering related to Infrastructure, Industrialization and Innovation (SDG 9), and Climate Action (SDG 13).
Eligibility: Applicants must hold or have a firm offer of an academic appointment at an eligible Canadian university at the time of application. Each applicant team must include investigators from at least three countries participating in the initiative. For Canadian investigators, this means they must establish partnerships with researchers from at least two other partner countries (outside Canada).
Webinar: Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 1 pm – 2 pm (ET).
