J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine

J. Allyn Taylor, founding Chair of the Board of Robarts Research Institute, was a widely respected Canadian business leader, and a person who, throughout his lifetime, demonstrated a deep regard and passionate involvement in healthcare matters in Canada. Robarts Research Institute at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University is proud to present the J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine annually. The international scientific community is invited to nominate individual scientists or groups of scientists whose initiatives fall within a particular field of research determined on an annual basis at Robarts and reflecting a principal area of research at the Institute. A peer jury of internal and external experts assesses nominees to identify the prize winner or winners.

Note: This year's (2022) theme is Research and Innovation in Molecular Imaging of the Brain. Of particular interest is the impact of the work on understanding neurological disorders and disease.
