A.G. Huntsman Award for Excellence in the Marine Sciences

This award was established by the Canadian marine science community to recognize excellence of research and outstanding contributions to marine sciences.
Eligibility: Awarded to those men and women, of any nationality, who have had and still have a significant influence on the course of marine scientific thought.
Note: IAll nominations must be initiated by RSC Fellows or Institutional Members (IMs). Institutional Members may nominate a max. of one candidate for every Medal or Award being offered each year. Institutional Strategic Awards (ISA) coordinates the internal selection of nominees for institutional nomination. To promote equity, diversity and inclusion, departments and faculties should ensure that all eligible candidates are considered and given the opportunity to self-identify. To recommend a candidate to the President’s Advisory Committee on Awards, Honours and Prizes, please submit a candidate suggestion form by the internal deadline.
