Other, Network Catalyst Grants

This funding opportunity supports the creation of six network in the areas of musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation, muscular dystrophy, skin health, concussion, youth mental health, and international brain initiative.
The purpose of the networks are to provide research leadership in their focus areas, to foster innovative research and practices, to build capacity and provide a forum that engages the research community and its partners (including but not limited to industry, charities, and patients and their carers).
Eligibility: The Nominated Principal Applicant must be an independent researcher appointed at an eligible institution. The proposed team must include a minimum of one early career investigator, one knowledge user representing a patient perspective such as but not limited to a patient, a health charity or a patient advocacy group and identified on the application as a Principal Knowledge User. Two-step application process:
July 9: Registration Deadline. No SFU signature sheet is required at registration stage.
Aug 6: Application Deadline. SFU signature sheet, routing slip and copy of full application are due no later than 3 business days before agency deadline.
