European Research Council Advanced Grants
ERC Advanced Grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the career stage at which they are already established research leaders with a recognised track record of research achievements. Applicant Principal Investigators must demonstrate the ground breaking nature, ambition and feasibility of their scientific proposal. This is open to researchers of any nationality who intend to conduct their research activity in any EU Member State or Associated Country.
The Principal Investigators should be exceptional leaders in terms of originality and significance of their research contributions. No specific eligibility criteria with respect to the academic requirements are foreseen.

*IMPORTANT: SFU is required to accept legal terms and conditions at submission stage. Please contact ors@sfu.ca well in advance of agency deadline if you intend to submit application.
*SFU signature sheet, host institution support letter template (Annex 2), and copy of full application are due to ors@sfu.ca no later than 3 business days before agency deadline. Overhead is 25% of total direct costs.
